Choosing keywords that quickly find the information you need saves time. This section will help you begin your research by identifying key words to assist in your investigation. 

Directions: Begin with #1 and work through#4 below.

Look at this Padlet example,  Internet Privacy Search terms. We created this Padlet wall to brainstorm keywords for our sample research project.

Padlet is a brainstorming tool to use on your own or with a group. Use Padlet to brainstorm your own wall of keywords that you can add to at anytime.

  • First, click on Padlet.
  • Click on Build a wall
  • Follow the screen directions.
  • Create a wall of stickynotes of your brainstormed key words by clicking on the wall.
  • Share the URL of your brainstormed keywords with your teacher.
