It is easy to fall victim to misinformation while living in an infodemic — even for digital natives like today’s young people. As educators, you can empower students to navigate our complex and ever-changing information landscape. In this presentation by the News Literacy Project, you’ll gain insights into how to strengthen students' inquiry skills while learning about misinformation. You will also learn strategies for teaching news literacy to students of all ages with free, high-quality resources.

    Lori Lee

    Lori Lee has over thirty years of experience in education as a high school English teacher, district librarian, and instructional technology coach. She oversees the INFOhio Instructional team and works closely with the digital resources, professional development, and train-the-trainer programs. She serves on the OhioNet board and the Zanesville City Schools Board of Education. She is also an adjunct faculty member for Muskingum University in their graduate education program.
