How do I evaluate the process and the project?

Any job or project is not completed until you reflect and evaluate your accomplishments and ways you might improve in the future.

Directions: Begin with #1 and work through #4 below. Then, click next.

#1

Write a few sentences in this form, comparing the way you do research now with the way you did research before completing the R4S modules. Your reflection should include your answers to the following questions:

  • How well did you do?
  • Does your final project answer your initial research question?
  • Does your final project inform others?
  • How did you use your time?
  • Are you satisfied with your research strategy?
#2

Share your form reflection with a classmate. Discuss your reflections and identify the similarities and differences in your reflections.

#3

Optional Self-Assessment: If you would like to complete the self-assessment independently, without peer feedback, print and complete this Self-Assessment Rubric for Research Process and Project PDF. Use this form to guide your evaluation of your project and your research process.
